April 2026 Webinars: WLCA of Buildings & Carbon Neutrality

Circular Ecology are pleased to announce two new free webinars for April 2026, offering practical guidance on two important sustainability topics:

  • Whole Life Carbon Assessments of Buildings: What You Need to Know
  • An Overview of Carbon Neutrality: Measure, Manage, Offset, Improve

We invite those interested in exploring the benefits and applications of a whole life carbon assessment (WLCA) of a building and how it can help with attaining BREEAM Mat 01 LCA credits, and organisations seeking to achieve carbon neutrality on their products, company, or construction projects.

Each webinar includes time for live Q&A, and may be of particular interest to sustainability professionals, marketing professionals, infrastructure clients, and anyone involved in emissions reporting or net zero planning.

Both webinars are free to attend, but spaces are limited. You can register via the links below.

Whole Life Carbon Assessments of Buildings: What You Need to Know

This session introduces Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCA) of Buildings, including what they typically consist of, why they are important, and what the current best practices are.

Topics include:

  • What is embodied carbon, and what is operational carbon?
  • What is whole life carbon assessment (WLCA)?
  • What tools can be used to assist with whole life carbon assessments?
  • What data can product manufacturers and suppliers provide?
  • Which standards should you adhere to?
  • BREEAM Mat 01 LCA: How to obtain credits, and v7 changes
  • How the London Plan requires whole life carbon assessments
  • How whole life carbon assessment can help you achieve Net Zero Carbon Buildings

  • Measurement: What are the requirements to measure the tCO2e?
  • Management: What you should do pre-offsetting
  • Mitigation: Carbon offsetting
  • Can you achieve carbon neutrality through tree planting?
  • Are there carbon neutrality standards?
  • Reporting carbon neutrality
