An Introduction to Bespoke Carbon Datasets

Bespoke carbon datasets use information that is specific to an organisation rather than broad industry averages. They give a clearer picture of real materials, processes, and supply chains, which helps improve the accuracy of carbon calculations. This makes them useful for organisations that seek more robust data for planning, reporting, and decision making.

In this session, Jon Burrow (Head of Carbon Accounting) and Edwin Lowe (Delivery Manager) of Circular Ecology explored the benefits, use cases, and associated standards of Bespoke Carbon Datasets.

Key Topics Covered

  • What is a Bespoke Carbon Dataset?
  • Comparison of bespoke vs generic datasets
  • Benefits of developing a bespoke carbon dataset
  • Aligning datasets to specific carbon standards
  • Case studies: Applications of bespoke carbon datasets
