Circular Ecology are delighted to welcome Professor Behzad Sodagar to Circular Ecology. Behzad joins us as a Principal Sustainability Consultant.
Prior to this, he was professor of Sustainable Architecture at University of Lincoln. He has over 30 years’ experience as a practitioner, researcher and educator in the built environment. He has qualifications in Architectural Engineering (BSc), Housing (MPhil) and Architecture (PhD). Sustainability has been his main career focus. Behzad has developed award-winning designs and carbon assessment tools for the attainment of sustainable solutions on a whole life cycle basis.
His work is high impact and action oriented, addressing the current environmental challenges and crises. He has initiated, secured, and successfully completed a range of projects including multiple Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programmes in collaboration with industrial partners, housing associations and NGOs assisting them to reduce their carbon footprints becoming more sustainable and innovative in what they do.
Behzad has worked on international interdisciplinary research projects examples of which include International Energy Agency (IEA) Energy in Buildings and Communities Programmes (EBC) Annexes 21, 71 and 80.
