Organisational Carbon Footprint Services

Organisational Carbon Services

Organisational carbon footprinting entails the measurement and quantification of carbon dioxide emissions emanating from a business.

We offer a variety of services, listed below, to help organisations measure, manage and mitigate their carbon footprint. Please click on each service offering to find out more.

Organisational Carbon Footprints

A Carbon Footprint enables an entity to understand its carbon hotspots, and furthermore it can be used to benchmark and monitor any improvements achieved from future carbon reduction actions.

By having an initial carbon footprint as a baseline, an organisation can start to build its Carbon Strategy through the setting of carbon targets and the development of a Carbon Reduction Plan, in order to ensure it can sustainably lower its emissions over a period of time.

Scope 3 Carbon Footprints

Scope 3 emissions occur from sources right across the entirety of an organisation’s value chain, therefore covering activities that are not owned or controlled by the organisation itself.

Circular Ecology can work with you to first help you understand your Scope 3 carbon footprint, working first on the areas most relevant to your organisation, before prioritisation of longer-term targets and improvements.

Carbon Footprint Verification

As part of a robust sustainability strategy, any organisation can undergo external verification of its carbon footprint, supporting data, and calculation methodologies

By choosing external verification, your organisation can demonstrate its commitment to the most accurate, reliable, and consistent environmental disclosures.

Carbon Reduction Plans & Target Setting

Once an organisation has successfully implemented annual reporting of its organisational carbon footprintit should start to set out a strategy to continually measure, manage, report and ultimately reduce its carbon footprint. This strategy can be developed through a Carbon Reduction Plan & Target Setting

There are several ways an organisation can approach its Carbon Reduction Plan and Target Setting. As such, the adopted approach should consider the organisation’s activities, future growth projections, and available resources.
