Online Organisational Carbon Footprint Training Course

Course Title:Organisational Carbon Footprint training course (suitable for all sectors)

Objectives:This is one of our practical courses where you will be walked through, step-by-step, how to calculate a detailed organisational carbon footprint. It is suitable for both relative beginners and intermediate level practitioners. You will require at least a basic understanding of the concept of organisational carbon footprinting, such as can be learnt in our Essential Carbon Footprint
training course
.

The course will include a case study that will demonstrate the calculations involved, and show how we deal with the main challenges of organisational carbon footprinting, such as collecting data, boundary setting, transport, operational versus financial control, Scope 1, 2 & 3 and more. This course will allow practitioners to start completing organisational carbon footprints to the main international standards and guidelines, such as the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and Defra’s GHG Reporting Guidelines. It will also discuss the many reporting and regulatory schemes, such as the CDP and the UK’s Mandatory Carbon Reporting legislation. Calculating your organisational carbon footprint can help you understand your main impacts, identify opportunities to cut both carbon and costs, improve your reputation and adhere to regulatory requirements.
